# Master Data Overview

> Create and manage suppliers and articles

Before the EUDR analysis can begin, your master data must be stored in Polygon One. This includes your **suppliers** (with contact details) and your **articles** (with HS codes). Both can be created via CSV import, manually, or through the REST API. As soon as articles with HS codes are available, the system automatically checks their EUDR relevance.
