Use the confirmation beside the field, row or import you changed. Selecting something, uploading a file, seeing a preview or receiving an extracted suggestion does not automatically mean it is saved.

What the save indicators mean

  • Unsaved changes: You entered or selected something, but it has not been saved successfully. Keep the page open.
  • Saving: The write is in progress. Wait for the result and do not start the same operation again.
  • Saved: The displayed information was confirmed and stored. If you edit it again, the new change is unsaved until it is confirmed.
  • Save refused: Nothing from that attempt was stored. The message explains why and points to the information that needs attention.
  • Save failed: The operation could not be completed. Your input should remain available; check it and retry.
There is no single app-wide autosave for every form. When a section saves a draft automatically, such as certain PPWR reply fields, it shows Saving and then Saved. In other sections, use the offered action such as Save, Add, Import or Send response.

What does not count as saved yet

  • typing text or selecting an option
  • selecting or uploading a file
  • extracting information from a document
  • seeing rows in a preview or queue
  • drawing a plot without confirming the save or import
  • seeing an upload success message while the later import is still pending
For an import, use the result summary. It states what was created, updated, unchanged or not imported. If the result is partial, only the rows explicitly confirmed as saved were stored.

When a save is refused

  1. Read the reason beside the affected information or below the main action.
  2. Use Show me when available. Focus moves to the first item that needs to be fixed.
  3. Correct the marked fields, then run Save, Add or Import again.
A message such as “required information missing”, “already exists” or “conflict” does not mean the new input was saved. Do not remove or invent information just to pass a check.

Leaving with unsaved work

If unsaved input remains, the app asks once before leaving. Choose Save or Add to continue working, or choose Discard only when the new input may be lost. Do not close or reload the page while you are waiting for a save confirmation. To resume, reopen the original invitation or sign in to your workspace and inspect the saved information. Work in one active browser session if edits conflict; do not assume changes from two sessions are merged. If a save fails, keep the page open and resolve the message before navigating away.

Saved is not submitted

Saved confirms the specific information or draft. Submitted means you used the final step to send the response to your customer. Ready or Complete only describes the input requirements; it is not legal approval.
Four steps: save draft, review response, submit and customer review; review and submit a requested correction again.

Saving, reviewing and submitting are separate steps. Wait for the actual confirmation at each step. Your customer reviews the response; save, review and resubmit a requested correction. Submitted means neither accepted nor legally compliant.

If the status is still unclear

Keep the affected section open and note the article, field, file format and exact message. Never give support your invitation link, security code or access token.
