Overview
Under Settings → Roles & Permissions, administrators define which role may perform which actions in Polygon One. Permissions are shown as a matrix: rows are the individual actions, columns are the roles. Use the checkboxes to grant or revoke a permission precisely.This page is only visible to company administrators. The defaults match today’s behavior — so you don’t have to change anything as long as the defaults work for you.
Roles
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Always has all permissions. This role cannot be restricted — its checkboxes are permanently enabled and grayed out. |
| Admin | Fully configurable. |
| Member | Fully configurable — typically for operational work. |
| Viewer | Fully configurable — typically read-only access. |
The Owner role always retains every permission and cannot be changed.
Permission Groups

Adjusting Permissions
Set the checkboxes
Enable or disable the checkboxes per action and role. Only deviations from the defaults are stored.
